    Code Of Conduct

    • Fee Rules

      • The school will issue the computerized Quarterly Fee Bill valid till and pay by date to all (Pre-Nursery to XII) the students in the first week of every Quarter. The student/parents are responsible for the safe custody of these Fee Bills. Request for payment of School Fee at Monthly mode will be entertained in special case on request only.
      • The school fee can be deposited through Fee Gate Way, Debit Card/ Credit Card and cheque.
      • The student will have to produce these Computerized Fee Bills/ Receipts when asked for by the school authorities for any reference or verification.
      • Cheques duly crossed should be drawn in favour of “GURU NANAK PUBLIC SCHOOL”, PUSHPANJALI ENCLAVE, PITAM PURA, DELHI- 110034
      • While depositing the fee by cheque, please write the Admission No., Class/Section and Name on the reverse of the cheque.
      • The last date of payment of fee for the Quarterly mode is 20th of due month i.e. April, July, October and January and (for monthly fee the last date is 10th of every month if opted monthly mode.)
      • After the due date please do not drop the Fee Cheque in Bank.
      • After the due date Late fee Fine will be charged up to the last working day of the following month. If the fee is still not paid by the last day of the following month, the NAME OF THE STUDENT WILL BE STRUCK OFF the rolls without notice.
      • Fee paid after the due date must have prior verification from the Fee Department/Accounts Deptt. before it is deposited in the Bank on the same date.
      • After the due date Fee payment by cheque will be accepted in our accounts office only along with requisite fine.
      • No student will be allowed to discontinue the use of school bus facility during the session.
      • Any student whose name has been struck off for non-payment of fee shall be re-admitted only at the discretion of the Principal on payment of re-admission fee along with the requisite amount of fine.
      • The date of presentation of the cheque will be treated as the date of payment. Any cheque returned by the bank for non-payment will be treated under the category of "NON-PAYMENT OF FEE" and Rs. 250/- will be charged as bank charges.
      • In case of loss of the Computerized Fee Bill the student shall report the matter immediately to the Accounts Department of the school in writing. A duplicate Fee Bill will be issued on payment of Rs. 10/-.
      • Timings for accepting fees at school fee counter: 9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., from Monday to Saturday (except 2nd and 4th Saturday)
    • School Transport

      The school bus transport at Guru Nanak Public School serves as a crucial means of connectivity for students living far away. It ensures that students have a safe and convenient mode of transportation to reach the school premises.

      The school buses are operated by vigilant drivers who prioritize the safety and well-being of the students. These drivers are trained and experienced, adhering to traffic rules and regulations to provide a secure journey for the students. They are responsible for maintaining a smooth and comfortable ride, ensuring that students arrive at school in a timely manner.

      Alongside the drivers, the school bus transport also has dedicated support staff who coordinate with parents, monitor bus schedules, and address any concerns or issues that may arise during the commute.

    • Use of Two Wheelers

      As per Traffic Rules (Motor Vehicles Act) students below 18 years are not permitted to drive motorized vehicles as it is very risky on Delhi roads. Any body found coming to School on motorized wheelers, the vehicles would be impounded by the School Authorities. Suspension will be imposed if offense is repeated. Kindly note and cooperate.

    • Withdrawal

      • One month’s prior notice or tuition fee in lieu thereof is to be given when a student is withdrawn.
      • In case of withdrawal, transfer certificate and security deposit will be released on clearance of school dues.
      • If a student stops attending school without information to the authorities, all the dues of the school will have to be paid by the parent / guardian upto the date when information is received.
      • A student who has been withdrawn, or whose name has otherwise been struck off, may be readmitted at the sole discretion of the school authorities on payment of readmission fee.
    • Discipline

      The following disciplinary measures can be adopted by the school's for various offenses.

      • Oral warning, Counselling
      • Written warning and fine
      • Expulsion
      • Suspension
    • Late Arrivals

      • Late arrivals in the School are totally prohibited except in an emergency on a particular day. Fine will be charged for being late. Make sure to one reach school at least 10 minutes in advance than the given school timings.
      • In case of emergency, school shall permit 10 minutes late entry on written request from parents.
    • For Sikh Students only

      PARENTS OF SIKH STUDENTS SHOULD GIVE AN UNDERTAKING THAT THEIR WARDS (INCLUDING GIRLS FROM SIKH FAMILIES) WILL NOT TRIM THEIR HAIR. OTHERWISE THE STUDENTS WILL NOT BE ENTITLED FOR ANY CONCESSIONS GIVEN. ALSO, THE STUDENT WILL BE EXPELLED FROM SCHOOL WITHOUT ASSIGNING ANY PRIOR NOTICE OR WARNING TO THE PARENTS.
